The board of directors of Alimex S.A. is formed by four of the five founding partners. Since the beginning, they have been involved in the aquaculture and fishing business. They currently direct and support the administration from different fields.
The current Executive President is Mr. José Ramón Gutiérrez Arrivillaga. The other four directors are Martín Borda Mingo, Alberto del Pedregal Labbé, Carlos Pucci Labatut and Ruben Bascuñan
José Ramón Gutiérrez joined Multiexport group in 1985 as Finance and Administration Manager. In 1986 he became Operations Manager, and between 1987 and 1993, he was General Manager of Alimentos Multiexport S.A.
Nowadays he is the Executive President of Multiexport S.A. In addition to, he has been Director of the Salmon Industry Association of Chile for more than 10 years; where he was Vice-president between 2001 and 2002, and President between 2002 and 2003. He is also one of the founding director of the international organization Salmon of the Americas (SOTA).
Martín Borda Mingo
Economist from Roosevelt University in Chicago, United States.
Founding partner of the Multiexport group; he has been an Executive Director from the beginning.
Additionally, he is a member of the board of directors of Compañía Molinera San Cristóbal.
Alberto del Pedregal Labbé
Commercial Engineer from Universidad de Chile
Founding partner of the Multiexport group, he has been an Executive Director from the beginning.
Previously, he worked in the Department of Studies of Banco Colocadora Nacional de Valores.
Carlos Pucci Labatut
General Manager of Alimex S.A. Civil Engineer from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile with a DPA from the Adolfo Ibañez business school.
Carlos Pucci Labatut joined Multiexport group in 1987 as Finance and Administration Manager. In 1989 he became General Manager of the company Conservas Multiexport in Concepción.
Between 1994 and 1996, he was Executive Director of Salmones Multiexport S.A. with residence in the city of Puerto Montt.
Rubén Bascuñan Serrano
Attorney from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Chile.
He joined Multiexport group as an advisor in 1986. That same year, he became part of Grupo Vial law firm, where he has been a partner since 1996.
He has performed consultancies in Perú, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador and the United States.
